Means of access
By car: From the A1 motorway (either north or south) take the Valdichiana exit. After you pay the toll, turn right. 0.5 km from the toll booth take the Perugia highway (direction Perugia). Continue on it for 12.3 km until the Cortona/Camucia exit (don’t take the previous exit unless you want to stop in Farneta). In just under 3 km you will see Cortona on the hill. Follow the signs for Cortona; about 7 km further you will be at the city walls.
